Hi my name is Kari Shaw. I am local to Oregon born and raised. I love this state. I have three children and I was fortunate enough to marry my best friend. We have been together since 2006. Although I wear many hats my family is everything to me. I'm in touch with my spirituality and practice light work. I have an innate ability to be empathic. My astrological sign is cancer, a water sign. I love the moon and the cosmos. I use them for guides in my life. My major is Psychology. I am on track to graduate after winter term and then move onto Western University to get my BA in Psychology. I'm studying to one day be a Marriage and Family Therapist. I'll also own and operate a couples retreat and private practice on my property.
I'm taking this course because it was one that caught my interest will sifting through required course for my degree. I am excited to be in JN134. Since the first day I have been forced out of my comfort zone its been good for me. I have no experience with a camera and tend to take only pictures to post on my social media profile usually selfies. One thing I enjoy even on my personal time is gazing at pictures [and art] to try to interpret it. Just reflect on it. My top three goals is to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to photography, learn more about interpreting photos, and how to use of a camera. I am also enjoying the novel Mr. Priewe has us reading on photojournalist Lindsey Addario.
